It will be wonderful study when it is completed and published. Swamiji himself has told to study the Upanishads through the microscope of the life and teaching of Sri Ramakrishna. It would be nice if each mantra of the upanishads illustrated through the life and teaching of holy Trinity and their disciples. Mahapurush maharaj told, " our lives are upanishads " . We shall be happy and look forward to further updates of this wonder full and interesting publication. Swamiji wanted to write a new Bhashya to the prasthanatraya according to the 3 schools of thoughts - advaita, dwaita and Visistadwaita. Congratulation and hats off to your new venture with regards and prayers Yours in the Mother Swami Yatatmananda Madurai =========== Dear Sir, We are glad to receive an introduction on Vivekananda on the Vedas by Sister Gayatriprana and Swami Yogeshananda. Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama,Rajkot-360001 INDIA (Publication Dept.) =================== July 27, 2000 Namo namah Dear Jay, Thank you for your response and glad to ?know? you too. I met Swami Ghananandaji once, here in Athens, when he was the guest of a lady-shishya of his. I have stayed at the Holland Park Centre where I first met Sw. Bhavyanandaji, with whom we became close friends over the years. He visited our Study Circle here every other year almost. I am very friendly with Tony Leong and of course with the other longer-lasting monastics. Have usually stayed at the Centre for some 3 weeks, mostly in November or December. It would have been nice for me to be able to participate, and see you too, during the September retreat, about which Sw. D. told me the other day over the phone. . I know Swami Prabuddhanandaji from the time he was a brahmachari in Bangalore in 1953, where I stayed awhile. So, we may meet at some future time if so Lord wills! Meanwhile, we'll be in touch.
