Guest guest
Truth is that which resolves all conflicts. Advaita resolves all conflicts ... even those of Islam and Christianity with Hinduism. Therefore Advaita is the highest truth. For example, here are some definitions when the Advaita viewpoint is applied to Christianity: CAUSE: A live, self-determined impulse that can create and entertain choices. FATHER: CAUSE that is the source of all considerations, but which itself is beyond all considerations. It is the source of Being. BEING: CAUSE that is holding the consideration " I AM. " SON: An enlightened Being. A being who is aware that all creation is ultimately the result of his own considerations. He takes responsibility for everything. HUMAN: A being who is not aware that he is looking at his own considerations when he is looking at the creation, and assigns responsibility elsewhere. His sense of personal responsibility is very low. In these upper echelon definitions, FATHER would equate to BRAHMAN, and SON would equate to PARMATMAN. BEING would equate to ATMAN. HUMAN would equate to JIVATMAN. Of course, there can be multitude of paramatmans. That is what we want all beings to rise up to. We need to get the Christians and Muslims to see how the Advaita viewpoint provides the correct interpretation of their religion. We need to get these religions rid of the corrupted idea that the Advaita viewpoint is not possible. Advaita is the only viewpoint possible in the upper echelon of spirituality. That is my understanding of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhamsa and Swami Vivekananda.
