Today i was reading a article and it explained what is life ? It said

that Guru is the one who give light blows to the disciple so that he

raises the question of what is life ?

 

Article said that all the great ones had to go throught the tough times

and there occured an incident in their life which gave them a blow and

opened their eyes. Buddha faced such an incident at the age of 21.

After seeing the four stages of man Siddhartha thought one day he

will die and if these people are to cry then why not let it happen

now itself. One day wife, son and all other things will die. When my loved

ones are destined to parted from me then why not let it happen now.

Whats the use of leaving in illusion. And he decided that he is not

going to die like all. And he left in the search for truth. Arjuna

faced an eye opening situation at the age of 41 at the start of Battle

field. At some point or the other one will have to face a situation which

will make one ask the question what is life ?

 

 

Such situation can come at any age. But it is bound to come. When one

looses something which is very dear to one, its then that

one wakes from the sleep and is hinted towards reality. One day one will

have to part with the one whom one loves very dearly may be wife, sons,

sisters, brother, father, friend or the loved one. One day the loved one

will be standing at the door step of death and we will have to part with

them in pain and agony.

 

 

And Guru gives light blows to the disciple so that he can understand the

true meaning of life. He knows how which mud to mould in to a pitcher. By

giving light blows he creates a pitcher out of mud. Which one day will

quench the thrist of millions. Guru's only aim in life is to shape up his

disciples. It may happen that while opening the closed doors of disciples

he may get bit hurt but he doesn't care for that. Once a disciple becomes

an able one at that time no one is more happier then the Guru.

 

 

A disciple is the biggest fool if one thinks why is one being made to

suffer from all this. First of all its very difficult to an able Guru

among the crowd. And its a blessing if Guru throws before us the tough

situations of life. For its only through them that ones eyes will open.

Only by facing such situations, the viel of illusion will be removed.

 

 

Life is to become one with nature.
