Experience and knowledge

Experience is the only source of knowledge. Therefore to expand our

knowledge we have to prepare ourselves for higher experiences. The body

and the mind must be made pure, subtle, and healthy to bear the force of

richer experiences. Knowledge is power; and making the prana powerful is

the key to gain this strength.

 

At the worldly level experiences play important role in making the

person more powerful. Such experiences are made possible through the

study of one particular branch of science or arts. Knowledge through

such experiences, and the preparation to obtain such knowledge,

distinguishes a genius from an ordinary fellow. Experimentation in the

field of science and arts prepares the mind and brain to gain

experiences and thereby knowledge.

 

In the field of spirituality such experimentation take the forms of

rituals and worship, discrimination and dispassion, selfless work and

philanthropy, and meditation and contemplation. Body related prana is

sublimated to spiritual prana; body bound prana is expanded to cosmic

prana, thus making the mind all powerful to receive spiritual vision and

experience of higher consciousness.
