Avadhuta Gita

Song of the ever free.

Chapter 5 Verse 20

Indeed the omnipresent Brahman is

devoid of caste and outcaste.

It is free from cause and effect, unity and diversity.

Being the selfsame Brahman,

O, mind, why do you weep.

Commentary:

Everything is tied up by the net of cause and effect;

Sometimes this cause and effect shows itself in a

more subtle way in the form of unity in diversity.

The seer says - Brahman is not tied up by any such

a network. Being that Selfsame Brahman:

Why, O, mind do you weep?
