Ashtha Siddhis

Some days back i was reading an article by Pujya Gurudev and there it was

mentioned after attaining one siddhi the yogi can take up whichever form

one wishes. These yogis, gods and goddesses take up the form of different

rivers, oceans and planets and Stars. When the need arises they do appear

in humanly form.

 

When someone with a scientific bent of mind looks at the planets being

called as Surya Devtaa , Dharti Mataa and like that. One thinks that these

are only large masses of different planets and where frm where does human

figure come here. Its all non sense. But in the light of above siddhi the

same thing does make sense.

 

 

I remember reading something about Shree Ramakrishna Paramhansa and there

it was mentioned that Shree Ramakrishna Paramhansa was an expert in Bhava

Samadhi. Once he got emotional and had the feeling of becoming and merging

with land. A cow grazing on that field. And it so happened that marks of

the feet of Cow appeared on the chest of Shree Ramakrishna Paramhansa.

 

 

Once when i was involved in some sadhana. I started having a feeling

of Earth as a mother. Don't know if that was a kind of psychological

moulding deleiberately done by me or something really was happening. But

the thought that i am abusing earth by spitting and and throwing all the

bad things on earth. I had to struggle through the thought for many days

unless i resolve to the thought that i can't do anything in this i have

live this life but what best i can do is live in all pureness and respect

earth and try not to abuse her.
