Guest guest
With reference to message #1 in Digest 581: Dear M. Magesh: The article misstates the case. What about the Aitareya Upanishad? It belongs to the Rig Veda and has a number of philosophical thoughts. What is true is that most of the Upanishads (philosophical revelations) are found in the Yajur and Sama and Atharva Vedas, not the Rig. I wonder about the education of the author of the article. No informed person looks for " Hindu philosophy " in its developed and commented form, in the early portions of the Vedas. ------ Swami Yogeshananda Vedanta Center of Atlanta 2331 Brockett Road Tucker, GA 30084 Ph: 770-938-6673 yogeshananda http://www.vedanta-atlanta.org/ -----
