With reference to message #1 in Digest 581:

Dear M. Magesh:

The article misstates the case. What about the Aitareya Upanishad? It

belongs to the Rig Veda and has a number of philosophical thoughts.

What is true is that most of the Upanishads (philosophical revelations) are

found in the Yajur and Sama and Atharva Vedas, not the Rig. I wonder about

the education of the author of the article. No informed person looks for

" Hindu philosophy " in its developed and commented form, in the early

portions of the Vedas.
