The first 2 instalments of the compilation of Jairam Seshadri on the 1000 names

of

Jesus

is wonderful. If it is also not too much trouble, can I request you to also post

the chapter and verse

in the Bible where the name of Jesus appears in context? This way we can try to

understand

some of the significance of each name from its context. It will also be useful

if

some one

wishes to write a commentary on the Sahasranama, later.

love,

Sreedhar

Dear Sreedhar...

when i began this quest i did not have the foresight to note down the

sources from which i took the names. It is only the last few days that i have

started noting the chapters and the references of the names. I should have

done so from the beginning.I hope to compile this one day with the sources

from which the names have been derived. The Psalms are the main source, the

Gospels ofcourse and Proverbs and Isiah. I am still in the process of

completing this and rest assured i will note down the sources.

Thank you for your encouraging words.

jairam
