Guest guest
Hindu Celebrations at the Millennium Dome Sunday 10th December is a special day at the Millennium Dome in London. The central arena will feature many programmes of dance, drama and music with Hindu themes. Most of the Hindu sectarian bodies in the UK will participate in these shows. The Vivekananda Centre will present the play 'Ramakrishna meets Jesus'. The Tamil Association and the SKLPC groups will both be presenting a 'Bharat Natyam' Dance. We are hoping the Luton, Leicester and Birmingham, Stanmore, Harrow and Wembley Hinduism classes will also come up with some contributions. The candidates who have passed Hinduism exams (GCSE and Advanced Supplementary levels) will be presented with certificates by the chief executives from QCA (The the Government Body in charge of Religious Education in the UK) and University of London Board. Candidates who sat for the Hinduism exams will be allowed free entry to the Dome.
