Dear List,

All of us know that Sikhs are the most loved and respected lot in India

and every where in the world. My best friends are from them Sardarji

fraternity. Iknow lots and lots of friends who narrate such jokes just to

enjoy.

And also there is nothing wrong in Jay tryong to issue the clarification

type of mail to the LIST.

Regaards to every member of the list. Seshadri from chennai

Dear Jairam

Science is undergoing a paradigm shift at the moment.

Many of the concepts it is handling (like concept of time)

can be labelled more as metaphysical than physical

but the hard headed Physicists will not agree.

Concept of 'time' has undergone a major shift

in understanding. In the classical period - it was assumed

that space and time were two independent backdrops

of the stage on which 'matter' unfolds its game plan.

In 1905 with the arrival of special theory of relativity this

idea was lost for ever. No longer can one think of time

and space as separate entities - no longer were they

passive backdrop of world stage.

They become strongly integrated with each other and

with the material universe.

Now we have space/time inseparable from each other

they are no longer passive backdrops - the curvature

of space/time produces Gravitation - the major force

that dictates evolution of the whole cosmos.

They have become integrated with each other

and with the player on the stage (matter).

The topic is lengthy and very interesting - I am sure there are

others in our list who may want to add further on the theme of time......

regards

jay

I hope that Jairam has not given up on his quest...i am eagerly awaiting the

last few names of the Jesus 1000 names

i have so enjoyed them...i almost want to say... " Take that Shakespeare!! " for

the language is beautiful and deceptively so...i never realised that the Bible

had such wonderful words

please keep them coming...

with much regards

maria
