Guest guest
In conference one of the speakers was Dr. G. Padmanaban. He is the former director of IISc and he is a world renowed researcher in the field of Biochemistry ( I don't know the exact specialization). Its always great to listen to him. Dr. N. H. Antia who had been leading surgeon both India and abroad asked him some question. I have now forgotten what was the exact question. But to the question Dr. Padmanaban said that he no is no longer that satisfied with Darwins theory of evolution. He said that the kind of interactions and reaction that take place at micro and cellular level are so enormous, spaecialied and mind boggling that its hard to comrehend that such a thing can arise out of natural evolution. He said don't mistake me for talking in spiritual terms. But to me it all these reactions seem to be kind of programming. Then he exprssed his thoughts about thought. What is a thought ? How does it arise. He said that all these neurons and cells are something which act after thought arises. Thought is something prior to these. He refereed to something whuch causes thought to be born as command structure.
