Guest guest
Should truth be compromised ? TO RAMAKRISHNA MISSION BOYS HOME SINGAPORE truth never needs any support not for the sake of anything . we can not just modify the truth for even the sake of doing good to humanity or can we ; its unity and will remain unity . believing in miracles or letting people belive in miracles for the sake of doing good to people is like taking drugs or allowing participants to take drugs in order to win in olympics marathon . what ever might be the cause, even if we have a little amount of doubt about the validity or invalidity of miracles we should not support it unless reaching to the core of the issue. dont you think that this emotive ones or the people having blind faith should be taken out of the grooves of the tricksters. My understanding of devotion(BHAKTI)yoga is same as your interpretation or bhagvan ramakrishna i too believe in going to temples, going for pilgrimages performing various austerities , pujas , havans , singing or listening to bhajans etc. this let you to come closer to GOD , it is like forgetting everything even yourself for the love of GOD(truth) this are the very powerful means of purifying the mind , powerful tools for motivation and in some form or the other are quite mandatory for reaching ultimate truth. but this doesnt mean that if i or for that sake even the most uneducated person on this planet should take support of magics if somehow i or he gets diverted from the path of truth . I think the fault is in us who think that truth is weak it needs support of various means , magic , popularity , crowd support are not we similar to the politicians whom we condemn the most, truth can emerge from us why not the same truth can emerge from those who are poor, who have no means for acquiring knowledge , dont you think that we ourself do not have enough faith in power of great ramakrishna-vivekananda why do we fear of time as if we are running out of time so let people like satyasaibaba give the message of wisdom and we are there to back him up in this pure mission , but mission using what means is not our concern. it is this thinking of ours that manifests satya saibaba although for good cause but using wrong means and as far as my understanding goes truth cannot emerge from miracles . I am not trying to condemn satya sai baba or any body , i am just trying to confirm that whether i am unknowingly , unconciously , unwillingly diverting from the path of purification of soul.It might be possible that people like myself(those who dont believe ) or believers of the satya saibaba are unknowingly causing some damage to the society so please remove my ignorance. i am really sorry if i did hurt your feelings , if you think i am ignorant and need some feedback in order to remove my ignorance i will be obliged to recieve any of your mails . God(truth) pardon me if i m doing any unwanted damage hey lord give all of us the power to understand you completely we all want to do some good may not arise in us ignorance give us the strength hari om > " Vivekananda Centre " <vivekananda >Ramakrishna > " list " <Ramakrishna > >[ramakrishna] miracles >Mon, 8 Jan 2001 10:19:16 -0000 > >Message from: >RAMAKRISHNA MISSION BOYS HOME " >Singapore > > >Happy New Year.
