Guest guest
The same journalist (Fracias G....) wrote an article abt the conference that was held in Indian Institute of Science. Article appeared in Indian Express Dec,30 or Dec, 31st 2000 . In that article he made one good point. That people drew away from spirituality n religion owing to the stubborn and irrational approach of Church. And it was in this irrational environment of Church (in that era) that the Westren Science grew up. In comparison to it the situation was quite different in Ancient India. In Ancient India Science n Spirituality went hand in hand. So thats how the gap between religion/spirituality n science grew up. Science of the recent era progressed mostly in West. Due to which the gap increased a great deal. n that is what we r seeing today Science n Spirituality standing apart. n we have inherited that feeling frm the modren science which proliferated among scientists n then to society that religion/spirituality r irrational without thinking over it.
