You still pardon their folly Like you, the tormentors will also go To be lost in the turmoil of history But broken rocks would continue to remind That large-hearted Tathagata's glory The statues always end as ruins That may be their destiny or fate But can essence be ever destroyed Of compassionate Buddha, the Great!
