privilege and faith

The idea of privilege also is linked with the kind of faith we

cultivate. If we have faith in sense enjoyment as our aim in life, we

will seek more and more privileges based on the power of money,

education, and secular knowledge. Similarly a few people in a given

society engaged in sense pleasures will demand more privileges based on

caste, economic and racial superiority. Same thing will apply to the

rich and technologically advanced nations that would try to dominate

less privileged nations.

 

However, a stage will come in everybody's life when evolution of faith

would reach the highest level where concepts like 'service of man as

worship of God' and 'the receiver is greater than the donor' would be

realized. Then the idea of privilege will be totally effaced from their

minds forever.
