Guest guest
Dr. Shah raises some good points here. It's important to pick one path and stick with it. A great teacher said: " If you want to hit oil, you have to pick one place and dig DEEP. You can't keep moving around and digging shallow wells everywhere- you'll never hit oil! " Sri Ramakrishna says: " How do you expect to get the pearls at the bottom of the ocean if you don't dive deep! You can't just splash about on the surface. " Of course this list is dedicated to the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. This doesn't mean that we can't appreciate the teachings of other teachers or paths- but our primary focus should be on THEIR teachings. Nobody, before or after, has made these eternal truths more accessible then these two masters (hey- I love MY Mommy the best!!) --- c s shah <drcssha wrote: > Some of the questions this group is getting point to > the widespread > misconception about Hinduism and Hindu religious > beliefs.
