There has always been a difficult dialogue on this issue..... The Kathopanishad says - " He reveals Himself to the one He chooses. " So how can we be the chosen one? How can there be partiality? Such paradoxes will continue to exist - the reason is that the foundation of our being is based on ' that which is neither real nor unreal' This is the reason why there is no easy resolution. The nearest we can get to this idea of God - is to get hold of a God-man. It is by linking to one or other God-man we hope to enforce our 'demand' for grace...... jay
Guest guest
To this context, I would like to add what Swamiji says that " love is always a manifestation of bliss " . As Swamiji says an atheist is a one who does not belief in himself, because we are all divine. So if one has faith on one Self, he has faith in Him as well. I would like to end with this message of Swami Vivekananda " ...He whom the sages have sought in all these places, is in our own hearts. Thou art He, O man! Thou art He! " I am too a learner in spiritual life, please forgive me for my poor explanation. In the name of Holy Mother Sukanya Ramakrishna, " Vivekananda Centre " <vivekananda@b...> wrote: > > - > " Udaya Shankar " <dakshinesha> > <Ramakrishna> > Tuesday, August 07, 2001 06:07 > Re: [ramakrishna] VML-8/6/01 > > > > Well, there arise a question here: How can one love > > Him about whom nothing is known?
