Dear friends, It has been quite interesting as well as enlightening to read

different views on celebacy. Both opponent and proponents of celebacy have

been quite passionate about their views, I t is difficult to address every

ones view but I will like to express my sincere appreciation to every one who

has wriiten to express themselves. It certainly has been a sesitive issue.

Here are few things I will like to say...

1. We still have not heard from a celebate. May be they find this discussion

amusing and are simply enjoying our confusion.

2. Spirituality and celebacy : : chicken and Egg. what comes first. Is

celbacy a by product of spirituality or a requirement?.To me it appears that

we should concentrate on the DOs and not so much on DON'Ts as suggested by

some members, because it makes sense and is doable. Let God take care of our

other burdens, if he wants us to follow him. If we wait to conquer our

sexuality before paying any attention to him , many of us will not make it.

We are only too much aware of the result of forced celebacy( scandals in

priesthood).

I think I have found my answer. I will just go at it and let things wash

off of me as I get deeper and deeper in the Ocen of God conciousness.
