Ramakrishna

[ramakrishna] Thakur

I have been reading the word Thakur for years but have never heard it spoken

and so don't know how it should be properly pronounced (by an Englishman, if

that makes a difference!). Which word is the pronunciation nearest: THACKER,

TUCKER, TACKER, THACKOOR, TUCKOOR, THAKER, or some other variation?

God bless,

Alan
