Re: [ramakrishna] Digest Number 879

Regarding celebicy:

1) Brahmacharya has nothing to do with abstanince.

None !

2)Thakur says that when someone near and dear to you

dies....two things happen to you, one, you loose

appetite for food and the second the urge and desire

for sex vanishes.

This may happen to you for a short period of time but

the reason is simple...your mind is so deeply immersed

into the thought of the person that passed away that

all else does not matter.

3) Same with celibacy...your mind is so immersed in

God that sex falls by the way side...naturally.

Brahmacharya means one who walks with God...like a cow

grazing on grass...'charya; in Sanskrit means to graze

alone ...to walk along ....to be immersed into....

One who is 'grazing with God...one who is walking with

God....does not control anything. Nothing needs to be

controlled. Everything is natural. Sex drops off like

a dry leaf, greed for good foods falls off, one

becomes more and more Godlike or in other words more

and more 'sadhu'(simple and innocent).

Warning: Do not fight sex...if you do, sex will always

win...

Also, if God gave us this powerful energy called sex

....it must be for some good use....?!
