Dr. Shah,

I am disappointed with this article. Very few indeed achieve the

state of true advaita in the real sense. As long as the humas live

on the interdependency all these rules of dualism apply and we must

do as LOrd Krishna syas to defend against the six enemies

(aatataayis). It is this very pessimist form of dvaita that has made

India crippled and with suffering against the inhumane attacks from

the other fanatic groups. If we were to follow the true advaita,

then it is also important to protect and preserve the ways of life

that made Advaita philosophy available. Are we to wait untill all

these loft ways of freedom, and thinkers, and ways and culture are

totally made extinct by the terrorist or the fanatics? Why not

follow what Krishna said? He himself went for diplomatic

negotiations with Kauravas until all the very last day before the

Mahabharata war. At the same time, he did not save his family when

they turned arrogant and self-indulging. That's is why He - Lord

Krisha is called Yogeshwar. Not because he sat around and did

nothing.

In my humble opinion, this very pessimist advaita has tremendous harm

to India. If advaita was that passive, Sri Shankracharya did not

need to travel all over India four times, establish the 4-Maths and

advaita schools. He himself was a great Karmayogis, he defended

against other groups in disguise to protect the true sanatan dharma.

True Advaita is very active.
