this might be off topic- but i don't think we can put

our heads in the sand in the name of spirituality-/

we must grapple with these issues, encourage dialogue,

and then we might find solutions- the important thing

is to see where we can apply sri ramakrishna's and

swamiji's teachings to the current situation. we must

strive to understand all the different points of view

so we can form a balanced, non-biased view of these

incredibly difficult and challenging events that are

impacting all of us. we are one world after all. we

have to beware of poisonous nationalism that obscures

humanistic and spiritual vision from addressing the

root causes of this suffering.....
