What are we talking about?

Dear List,

 

What are we talking about? How did the mention of a terrorist attack by

a fanatical wing of a religion become Christian-bashing? How can any

one of us speak to the heart's longings and goals of another, in this

case Christian? Ramakrishna reiterated that " Truth is One, though sages

call it by many names. " He experimented and he realized the same truth

through different paths of Hinduism, through Mohammedanism, through

Christianity. He did not come to preach himself or to ask us all to

become carbon copies of one another. We are each individual spokes of

the same wheel. Let us not cast aspersions on different spokes than our

own. Let us be at peace with ourselves and with the world at large and

pray that we can find proper solutions to this worldwide problem of

terrorism.
