The recent tragic developments have touched us all.

 

-- the whole process is rolling along, gathering pace

-- very much out of control, very much inevitable

-- sure to lead to a great deal of bloodshed

-- so many innocent people are going to be hurt

-- sure to escalate with even more tragic events to follow

-- the imminent danger to mankind is palpable

-- yes, we may pray - go ahead!

-- yes, we may send emails to our governments to show caution - do it!

-- yet one feels the situation to be beyond human control

-- we realise in no uncertain terms that we were never in control

-- these events showed up that idea to have been a delusion

-- desperation clouds our thinking process

-- surely we have some handles we can turn

-- surely we cannot resort to fatalism

-- words of Krishna come to mind

-- " I alone operate all this " -- however horrifying

-- how to accept this?

-- I know not

-- life is not easy.
