Guest guest Posted October 24, 2001 Report Share Posted October 24, 2001 Dear List Let me share the timetable of the activities of the Vivekananda Centre London for the next month to give you an idea of the work we are involved in the: - 30th October 4pm at Oriel College, Oxford University Topic: Contemporary Hinduism 1st November 7.30 pm at London Interfaith Centre Topic: Hindu scriptures 4th November 7.30 pm at London Interfaith Centre Sacred silence (meditation meeting using Hindu theme) 6th November 6pm Brunel University Topic: Contemporary Hinduism 7th November 10am to 1 pm Sixth form conference for 250 students (16 to 18 year range) on contemporary issues covering all religions. 12 November 11am to 1pm Presentation of Hinduism to 65 English Primary school children visiting Hindu monastery (Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre) 14th November 4.30 pm at Preston Manor School Hinduism seminar for Religious Education Teachers of Brent 20th November 12 -3 pm Sixth form conference at St Joan of Arc - Roman Catholic school in Rickmansworth for 250 students from all religions Series of three talks on Hinduism at Brent Town Hall Timing: 7.30 pm to 9.00pm ( + issuing GCSE certificates) 30th November + 7th December and 14th December If any list member wishes to attend the series of three talks at Brent Town Hall please email us for further details. jay Vivekananda Centre London Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
