Guest guest
Can anyone enlighten me as to how Buddhism, which is built upon the foundation of compassion permit the consumption of non vegetarian food. Not to say that other religions do not recognise the virtue of compassion!!! However having its origin in the East and in total contradiction to Jainism which advocates complete abstinence from non vegetarian food how does Buddhism permit it ? I am looking for a fairly authoritative view on this. Make a great connection at Personals. http://personals.
