Guest guest
J_R's views sound noble: " When Lust presents itself and it does not leave, marriage is a step by which we begin to identify with ONE OTHER soul, bond with that other soul even in love making. Through that bondage and consummation a family emerges and our bonding is extended to perhaps two more children... " but I think utterly fail in the real world for most people, especially if your spouse has no spiritual tendencies. As Sri Ramakrishna said: " Worldly people are slaves to their wives, their money and their possessions. " I would add children too. I would disagree too with the posting that said if you have lust then get married. Why should the desire for momentary pleasure require a lifetime commitment to slavery? Who can meditate and think about God when their wife is constantly nagging and their children are screaming? Plus, the full-time effort to support a family and pay bills. Who's got time for God then? Very few householders can release God if their spouses don't share the same Goal....there is no reason to make lust/marriage sound like this noble endeavor when it leads further into the net of Maya.....
