Guest guest
Dear Kendra, One may understand it this way. Just as there are specialists in every profession, persons recognized in the " club " as superiors and even teachers, so in India we have the monks of different degrees, who often recognize one of their members as having special spiritual talent or insight, are said to have " gone farther " , and is called a paramahamsa; or as Sri Ramakrishna describes the degrees of knowledge of God: the seeker, the one who has found something, the one who has taken it all in, and the one who uses it magnificently. " Some have heard of milk; some have seen it; some have tasted milk; some have swallowed and digested it. " They know milk, and are the " siddhas of the siddhas. " Jay is right: these are matters rather too high for our understanding and classification. Hope it helps, Yogeshananda
