Guest guest
For Chandrayee Bannerjee, (Message 7 in Digest 963) In recent times there are many, many passages in the Works of Swami Vivekananda to this effect. Going back a bit, consider " ayam nijah puro vetti, ganana laghu cetasaam, udaara caritaanaam tu, vasudhaiva kutumbhakam. " 'This is mine, this is the other's' is the reckoning of the small-minded, the narrow; noble-minded folk say, 'The whole earth is one single family. " Or, in Siva-Mahimnah Stotram: " As the many streams, having their sources in different places, mingle their waters in the sea, so, O Lord, the different paths men take, according to their differing temperaments, prescribed by different scriptures, various though they be, straight or crooked, all lead at last to Thee! " Regards, Yogeshananda
