Guest guest
Dear Uday, You are right, no one said it is easy path even Swamiji said it is difficult one. In the Upanishads it is clearly said that it is like " walking on razor's edge " . But the problem at hand, that is getting out of ignorance is also not a easy one, so for a difficult problem, difficlt solution. And a spiritual seeker should never worry about difficulty. fearlessness is the most fond word for Swamiji, and it is repeated many times in upanishads. So until we convince ourselves with Vedantic teachings, dehypnotise ourselves from this duality, train our mind to reach God this always seems to be tough and difficult path. But ones we tune ourselves to the great upanishad teaching even this difficult path becomes a rosy one. We feel it is difficult because, our mind is not tuned for this path, our mind is bent for comfortable, happy and easy going path as you said. But we should always keep trying to get out of this notion and train our mind for vedantic ideologies. hope this helped. sarvam vasudevamayam jagath Prashanth > Message: 2 > Mon, 3 Dec 2001 04:39:06 -0800 (PST) > Udayashankar <dakshinesha > To him the Mother comes. > > Swamiji says in His poem " Kali The Mother " > ......... > ......... > Who dares misery love > Dance with destruction's dance > And hug the form of death > To him the Mother comes. > > This is difficult to practise and to live.
