For a > samnyasi I agree nivrutti approach is the best, but for householders like us, > it becomes a wrong to adopt nivrutti nature, a bit of pravrutti is always needed. > Any comments? I think we cannot help which approach we take--it is given to us as our nature, according to divine Will. Krishna told Arjuna that he could not help behaving as a warrior because that was his nature. Even if he said he did not want to kill, he still would have to do it, because in fact the enemy was already dead, killed by Krishna, and Arjuna was only the instrument. So whether we are destined to sing of mud or gold is part of the divine Lila, and we can relax, be natural, and just play our parts like puppets in a puppet show. That's what makes sense to me.The samnyasi doesn't adopt the nivrutti approach because he chooses to. It's the other way round. He becomes a samnyasi because he is already disposed to the nivrutti approach. Those of us who have the pravrutti nature ended up as householders. _______ Get your free @ address at
