Guest guest
I was just thinking about that chakra too recently. I found a reference to it online as the anandakanda chakra. It sounds as if you are wanting to meditate in this place (rather than, say, merely do research for a thesis about it)? Usually the best thing to do is find a meditation teacher who can give you explicit directions. If you want to just experiment on your own, instead of trying to identify the exact " correct " visualizations, I wonder if it might be helpful to simply hold the image of your chosen ideal in that place where you feel the emotions of worship--where all your deepest wishes are cherished (at the wish-fulfilling tree)--and see what happens? Sri Ramakrishna said: " God is the Kalpataru, the Wish-Fulfilling Tree. You will certainly get whatever you ask of Him. But you must pray standing near the Kalpataru. Only then will your prayer be fulfilled. But you must remember another thing. God knows our inner feeling. A man gets the fulfillment of the desire he cherishes while practicing sadhana. As one thinks, so one receives. " I used to weep, praying to the Divine Mother, 'O Mother, destroy with Thy thunderbolt my inclination to reason.' " [abridged version of Gospel, 312-13] One suggestion that Swami Vivekananda gives is: " Think of a space in your heart, and think that in the midst of that space a flame is burning. Think of that flame as your own soul. Inside the flame is another effulgent light, and that is the Soul of your soul, God. Meditate upon that in the heart. " [ " Raja-Yoga, " in The Yogas and Other Works, p. 620] _______ Get your free @ address at
