Guest guest
Sharing this email exchange hoping that it will encourage others to set up educational activities for the youngsters......jay Vivekananda Centre London - Harihara Neelakantan hindu Cc: Harihara Neelakantan Tuesday, January 15, 2002 01:50 Sunday School We have a few volunteers here in Memphis TN, USA, who teach hinduism to kids from 6 to 12 years every Sunday from 10:30am to 12:00 noon. We follow a structure that suits both our kids and the teachers. We are in constant search for materials for handouts. I came across your site. Your site is very informative and has a lot of information we could use. I would like to get your permission to print your content and give the kids as handouts. Thanks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~response~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Harihar It is nice to know of your activities. Please keep us informed of your progress. You can even ask the youngsters to study Hinduism in a focused manner and sit for a GCSE exam in Hinduism (set by London University but can be taken in any part of the world)... You are welcome to download any material from our website called Hinduism for Schools http://www.hinduism.fsnet.co.uk (we claim no copyrights - in fact we encourage a policy of 'Please Copy' ). We run 15 classes in the UK teaching Hinduism (all on non-commercial and non -sectarian basis) as well as 5 classes overseas. We will provide all the support that you may need.
