Dear friends:

Please help me with this detail of research.

Sri Ramakrishna says of one of his visions, " I saw Chaitanya’s party singing and

dancing near the Panchavati, between the banyan tree and the bakul tree. " Is the

bakul tree one of the five trees of the Panchavati? Elsewhere (on the internet)

I saw the five trees named as the banyan, the ashvattha, the vilva, the neem,

and the myrobalan (and it was said that of these, only the ashvattha survives).

Namaste,

These references will make it clear! The Bakul tree was separate

from the Panchavati group!

the Panchavati, a sacred grove of five trees (banyan, peepul, neem,

amalaki, and bel);

M. rises after resting for a while and returns to the Panchavati via

the south-western corner of the tank and proceeds towards the Ganga

passing in between the Ashwatha and the Banyan trees. Then he goes to

the south. In front of him is the Bakul tree. It is an old tree of

Thakur's time.
