Guest guest
Although some of the statements and accusations against Christianity may have a tinge of truth, it is also true that there were and there still are a number of very noble souls in Christianity at all levels including the Catholic Church who are as universal as the teachings of Ramakrishna ......there are also many Hindus who may not be as fanatical but are narrow minded, nevertheless...ISKCON comes to mind... de Nobili and Bede Griffiths come readily to mind when i think of noble Christians and who embraced the universalism of Vedanta. My point is i supppose already aired by many. It is useful however to reiterate that although aspersions against Hinduism should be recognized for what they are, we should not allow our focus to dwell on those thoughts...just a gentle thought ....after all we are what we focus on. this site is also very good http://www.spiritualitytoday.org/spir2day/91432teasdale.html >Thanks Alan. Guest guest
Dear friends; Attack on Hinduism is not new as we all know. May be it is good that the faith of Hindus is being tested. It is a faint heart who calls fowl and blames others for its fall. Let us be Brave Hearts. Take responsibility for our weakness and remove it. If a school loses it's student to other, a business loses it's client to other, then they just have to make themselves better than the other. Why Christaians are able to exploit our poor lots? We all know the resons. What are we doing about it? May be we are doing some but obviously not enough. If we are strong living in the house not made out of straw and sticks, but bricks, we do not have fear any bad old wolfe.
