Namaste Brad,

Regarding " thank you " , that was my personal opinion.

You are maybe right. But if curbing the number of

mails is really a big necessity, then this can be a

good suggestion.

About SRK,Kolkata's sale of property, I think the

Mission should have been more considerate.Even if they

dont want to occupy the premises, which Sri Sunderh

has rightly pointed out, I feel they could use it for

some constructive use.Say, they can run a school for

children of the prostitutes. They can rent it out as a

small clinic, the doctor who could be partially paid

by the Mission. They could also take a weekly

discourse there. I pity the prostitutes who really

missed a golden chance of coming closer to think of

God and divinity.I must say that the Mission has lost

a golden opportunity to reform the downtrodden and

neglected people of the society. If such

" knowledgeable " people like monks themselves neglect

them, then what better treatment can be expected from

other " normal " people?This is sickening.

Regards,

Srikanth.

Dear Srikanth:

Thank you for the interesting article (sorry, but I

disagree with you on
your other posting - I feel our world can use as many

& quot;Thank you's & quot; it can
get!) The article for me is just another example of

how ALL religions and
spirit-based organizations (SBO's & nbsp; - to coin a

new term!) slowly, but
inevitably, fall away from the lofty and challenging

ideals established by
their founders & nbsp; - & nbsp; unless and until they are

re-energized by new leaders or
followers who embrace and embody that original

teaching.

God Bless,
