The petition statement is as follows: National Hindu Students Forum (UK) would like to launch a petition against the depiction of David, Victoria & Brooklyn Beckham as Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesh. This picture caused offence to the society's members because of the manner in which it appears to mock the importance of Hindu deities and portray the Beckham family as Hindu Gods. This petition is not an attack on the artists or any form of free artistic expression. We urge you to sign this petition and forward this email to those who would also support this cause.
