I was touched when i read this but got to thinking obviously Krishna was referring to Arjuna's real SELF and not the false self. You also correctly point out that our sense of identities are false...and what i take to mean by false is that they are not everlasting..they are passing as in a dream and so they are false../ yet for me when i espy that mirage...it is REAL for that moment..till i wake up...and till i wake up i am denied the Love of God... or at least am unaware fo teh love of GOd.. which seems, still, a little conditional. Thank you for your valuable input...i learnt and grew, but still could do with more growing! _______________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com

This apparent denial of love could be God's trick to fan the flames of your longing for His love. Instead of feeling that it's because of some fault of your own that you are unaware of this love, treat it as a hide-and-seek game. Sri Ramakrishna says that God cannot be realized without love and longing. Keep pursuing the love of God and you will surely receive it. " One must be restless for God. God will certainly listen to your prayers if you feel restless for Him. Since He has begotten us, surely we can claim our inheritance from Him. He is our own Father, our own Mother. We can force our demand on Him. We can say to Him, 'Reveal Thyself to me or I shall cut my throat with a knife!'
