Does anyone know what qualifications he had to work as a lawyer in South Africa/India at that time please? Thank you Ahimsa ... Timita P. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Namaste all: I am a lawyer. I don't know the requirements in England or South Africa, but in California where I am it is POSSIBLE to become a lawyer without going to law schiool by studying an in attorney's office. This method of legal education has become rare, but every now and then a paralegal or secretary who never went to law school DOES get admitted to practice! [some of them, of coruse, end up knowing more than the lawyers they work for!] Thanks, Hale
