Dear Jay,

I realize that I was not seeing what the issue was. Well, what you have

said is just right: a great difference between the spiritual basis for

moral behavior and the societal or humanistic ones. The Gita may be the

first to make this clear; but of course it's not something exclusive to the

Gita.
