Guest guest Posted May 17, 2002 Report Share Posted May 17, 2002 Dear Friends, I have two questions which are totally different. 1) First being, Whether Astrology is related to Spirituality (religion).Because some of the astrological predictions are almost true, which is of course related to body.I have heard this was true even in the case of sages. 2) I have always found that there are lot of differences in the way of worshipping god between north indians and south indians.For instance,in north india I have seen people touching the Idols and doing abishek, which is forbidden in south indian temples.The difference exists even in the temples.All north indian temples are quite decorative and idols are white or rather bright.Also the north indian temples are not so big as south indian temples and lack some features like holy tank inside the temples etc.In south indian temples the idols are dark. I would like to know reason for such differences. It will be very much appreciated is somebody could throw some light on the above mentioned aspects.
