Guest guest
If it be true that man is the evolution of a mollusc, the mollusc individual is the same as the man, only it has to become expanded a great deal. From mollusc to man it has been a continuous expansion towards infinity. Therefore the limited soul can be styled an individual which is continuously expanding towards the Infinite Individual. Perfect individuality will only be reached when it has reached the Infinite, but on this side of the Infinite it is a continuously changing, growing personality. -- ______________________________ Today we begin: PRACTICAL VEDANTA Iv (Delivered in London, 18 November 1896) This lecture is found in Vol. II of the Complete Works, pg. 328-340.
