Sri Chaitanya

I have been trying without success to get to know the devotional life and

teachings of the great Bengali saint Chaitanya. We get so many glimpses of

Chaitanya in the life of Sri Ramakrishna but following up on that has proved

more difficult than I expected. The plentiful ISKCON works are so sectarian that

I cannot relate to them.

In particular I am looking for a readable, non-scholarly English edition of the

Chaitanya Bhagavata but I have drawn a blank on the internet. Does anyone have

any particular advice on this from their own experience?
