As already most of our members know about the importance

of " GURUDWADASHI " . The day is very important for the followers of

Lord Dattatreya. The first incarnation of lord Dattatreya is Sreepada

Sreevallabha. His birth place is Pithapuram in East Godavari district

of Andhra pradesh. He reached Kuravapur (kurugadda) which is nearer

to Raichur of Karnataka which is on the bank of Krishna river and

performed penance there. The importance and details of kshetra was

already uploaded in files section of smarthrugaami-dattavibhavam

group.

 

He closed his avathara of Sreepadavallabha in Krishna river

on the day of " ASHWEEJA BAHULA DWADASHI " and the day is termed

as " GURU DWADASHI " in all the kshetras of Lord Dattatreya. The day is

highly powerful and performing abhishekas and pujas to Lord

Dattatreya in all Datta kshetras. This year the day is falling on

29.10.2005, Saturday.So we are also performing abhishekas and archana

to Datta guru in a temple of lord dattatreya which is under

construction at Markapur in Prakasam district of Andhra pradesh.

 

We are freely performing the abishekas to the devotees who

are interested to perform their pujas to lord dattatreya. So we

request all the devotees, who are willing to perform their pujas and

perform the Rudrabhisheka with Purusha sukta, sreesukta, Durga sukta,

Manyu sukta and with DATTA MALA MANTRA on the day of " Gurudwadashi " ,

i.e., on 29.10.2005.. Already all the devotees are aware about the

importance of rudrabhisheka which was already said by

Sreeguru SriNrusimha saraswathy swamy and it can be observed in Sree
