A Seminar was held On " SCOPE FOR RESEARCH IN KNOWLEDGE

SYSTEMS OF ANCIENT INDIA FOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY " by

Shri Veda Bharathi ( http://www.shrivedabharathi.org/

) and Pragna Bharati ( http://www.pragna.org/ ).

 

Objective: To discuss about the Research done about

Science & Technology in Vedas ( Vedas / Puranas /

Ancient Indian shastras / etc....). Share the findings

and Knowledge. To find out better steps to be taken

for encouragement of Sanskrit Learning and Research on

Vedic Science.

 

The following persons gave very good speeches on

various scientific topics. Below is list of Imp.

Points / Findings / Contributions.

 

Sri P Venkateswarlu,Chairman, Kakatiya Cement & Sugars

 

1) Supporting the activities of Veda Bharathi

2) Running a Veda Patashala ( Paying 10,000 for

pundits. 1000 for student per month, Free Food /

Hostel etc..) But only 9 students are learning. But

they are ready to support many. All 4 Vedas available.

 

Mahamahopadhyaya (Sanskrit) Prof.Pullela

SriRamachandruduji, O.U.(Retd.)

 

1) Gave speech in Sanskrit.

2) Told that the ultimate knowledge will only come

from the blessings of Parameswar.

3) Told how rich is the Sanskrit language ( Referring

to Panini etc...)

 

Shri KS Sudarshanji, Sarsanghchalak, RSS

 

1) Very good Speech on Merits of the Sanskrit

Language, over other languages of the world.

2) Explained the British Conspiracy, Due to which our

present people are not interested much in Vedic

teachings and practices

3) Explained how BBC corrected some of it's mistakes (

). Recently BBC agreed that Aryan Invasion Theory is

just a false Script written, nothing more than that.

4) Expressed full support to the Research on Vedas and

Emphasized on how it will be helpful for the Mankind.

1) Presented the Topic of Ayurveda (Being a modern

medical person)

2) Modern Medicine just tries to Cure the Decease.

Ayurveda will Cure and helps for the long term health

of people also.

3) Explained how all the latest medical technologies

existed and used at the ancient times.

4) Asked ayurvedic doctors, to form a regulatory body

to validate and certify ayurvedic drugs, so that

entire world can accept it by proof.

 

Prof.Nene, Consultant, Agricultural Science

 

1) Explained how " Krishi Sastra " (Agriculture) is

developed very well in ancient India.

2) Explained how their organization is utilizing the

method of ancient Indian agriculture, in the present

day world. At many places they were implemented.

3) Problem is the Govt / Agriculture Universities are

not ready to accept and utilize the benefits of this.

4) Trained many people on this ancient / well

developed / Pure Organic - non polluting methods of

agriculture.

5) Printed and Translated ancient Indian books on

agriculture.

 

Dr.MVR Sastry Editor,Andhra Bhoomi

 

1) Speech on Political Aspect. Explained how Dharma is

controlling even King in olden days and how one person

(the so called majority party leader) is deciding the

fate of country these days.

2) Explained about the strict " Danda neeti " Given in

Manu Smrithi and other books. How to punish criminals.

Criticized present day punishment system where 5 star

Jails are built by Govt for criminals.

 

Mr. Avadhanulu on Shri Veda Bharathi

 

1) How Astronomy and Astrology can be used to predict

Earth Quakes etc....

2) Prepared the Astrology charts for Past Earth Quakes

(based on Time, Date and Place) and compared with the

What is said in Jyotish Shastra about when a Quake can

come. The results are very accurately matched.

3) Working on how to predict there thing in advance

using Vedic Astronomy and Astrology.

 

Shri CSR Prabhu,Dy.Director General, NIC

 

1) Did Research on " Vimanayana Shastra " of Ancient

india. The Shastra completely explained the way to

build Airplane.

2) Based on that book, he prepared many alloys used

for building Airplane. These are patented by him and

they are new alloys. Very useful for building

Airplanes.

3) He demonstrated some alloys he prepared, one exmple

is a liquid into which you put a paper and then you

can not burn that paper.

4) NIC has a website on ancient Indian science

5) Also did research on Kurukshetra to prove that

Mahabharata War is real.

 

Shri KV Krishna Murthy,Chairman, ISERVE

 

1) They prepared list of book of ancient India, which

are not available now. They prepared the list based on

the references made in Ramayana / Mahabharata / Vedas

etc available Books.

2) Divided into 16 projects and 9 projects are on.

Search teams are sent to all places of India and out

of India, to find these books.

3) They plan to publish / Translate and preserve these

books.

Prof..Rani Sadasiva Sastry,Rashtriya Sanskrit

Vidyapeetha, Tirupati

 

1) Presented how Rashtriya sanskrit vidyapeetha, is

working on research on Sanskrit and Vedic knowledge.

2) Presented many papers and gave many presentations

in all universities of India and other countries.

3) Many topics are selected for research in the

Vidyapeetha like " Environmental solutions in Vedas "

etc..

4) Many topics are very much useful for mankind.

University, Gujarat

 

1) How to use Vedic Astronomy and Astrology to predict

Rainfall

2) Experimented in few states. Results on to the level

of 70% accuracy.

Sudarshanji, Sarsanghchalak, RSS.

 

 

Problem Identified and Actions need to be taken or

Observations Made

 

1) Many ancient Indian books are not available.

Scattered at various places in India. - We need to

find these books, publish and translate.

2) People related with Science and Technology, does

not understand these books as they are in Sanskrit. -

All these people must be educated in Sanskrit

language.

3) We need to Prove many Science related topics of

Vedas. Till date only ayurveda and yoga are widely

accepted. - We need to have a regulatory boards to

validate and approve the Vedic methods. So that entire

world will accept. We should be able to tell that they

are very much useful to mankind. The only we can be

proud of Indian contributions to world.

 

4) A Consistent and co-ordinated effort must be there

by dedicated individuals to make it happen.

 

5) One observation is : We are begging Western world

for every thing, sitting on a treasure box.

 

6) It is decided that more and more such seminars will

be held. so that people doing Vedic research will meet

and share the knowledge and collectively improve the

findings.
