I have promised you that I will be giving the varieties of deekshaas a Sishya can get from his Master – Guru. Accordingly they are narrated as under. The first and the foremost one is SHAKTI DEEKSHA in which the Guru through the Kundalini Shakti always passes the power of Mantra/Deeksha to his disciple. Shambhavi Deeksha: In this The Guru and Disciple sits face to face where the Guru passes on the Shakti to his disciple through his Drishti and Sparsa. Smaarthi Deeksha : The Guru examines the qualities of his Disciple and suggests the easiest way for Sidhi Maanasi Deeksha: The Guru makes his disciple to enjoy the sidhi through his Maanasik. Yogi Deeksha: The one which is granted by Guru through Yoga Chakshushi Deeksha: The one which is given through just eye sight. Sparshik Deeksha: The one which is given through the touch. Vaachika Deeksha: The one which is given through Mantra and Mantrokta. Tantrik Deeksha: The one which is given by Guru through the Nyaasam etc. Hothri Deeksha: The one which is given by Guru during Yagna/Havan. Sastree Deksha: The one which is given as per Vedic rituals suggested. Abhishechik Deeksha: The one in which Guru sprays the Abhishek Jal after performing his daily ritual, on the head of Disciple and then passes on the Shakti. The readers may get confused to see the varieties as most of them look like similar to each other, but surely they are different and there are a few more deekshaas which a Guru can give and the details would follow. I shall be back again soon………………affly HARA HARA MAHADEVA DR P V SESHA ASWAMEDHAYAAJI
