My dear friends and like minded persons

 

The forthcoming eclipse on 7th September 2006

 

According to great sages, Eclipse is a good boon for

Sadhaks/Upasiks. Those who are in the practice of Mantra Sastra and

those who desire to have the blessings of divine forces in the

fastest and quickly possible time are expected to make use of this

wonderful time. The Eclipse now is occurring on the Stars of

Satabhisha and Poorva Bhadra and therefore the ancient Hindu

sastraas specify that those who are born in these stars are not to

see the eclipse. The Eclipse is happening due to coverage of the

Moon Planet by Rahu and as such it is said to be a RAHU GRASTA

CHANDRA GRAHAN.

 

The modern science too specified that those who are pregnant should

not get themselves exposed to the open atmosphere on the day of

Eclipse i.e. when Grahan is taking place.

 

With regard to the Sadhana on that day, since Satabhisha Star is

also that of Rahu Mahaadasa Star, and the Adhidevata is Goddess

Durga or Mahaa Kaali, the one letter Mantra will be of great use on

that day. HREEM is the one letter mantra for Goddess.

Since Devi Navarathri is also ahead of us, Male sadhaks can continue

with chanting of Goddess Durga Beej Mantra like – AUM DURGE DURGE

RAKSHINI SWAHAA. Since AUM is not expected for ladies as per my

Guruji, I suggest HREEM to be placed in the place of AUM when ladies

prefer chanting of this, and it is like HREEM DURGE DURGE RAKSHINI

SWAHAA.

 

This sadhana can also be continued till the end of Devi

Navarathris. Please use Crystal Rosary for counting purpose if

interested in counting, and for all practical purpose one may use

DIVYA SAKTI MAALA for any pooja or Jap. The number of beads in the

Divya Sakti Maala exceed 108 since it is prepared in a different

composition and it contains all precious and semi precious stones

and the maala is a all purpose maala. Wishing you all a PERFECT AND

PURPOSEFUL SADHANA FOR THE FORTHCOMING GRAHAN TIME i.e. on 7th

September 2006.

 

It has been the practice followed since ancient times, to put

Darbha – or Kusa – a kind of Grass in the preserved eatables and I

heard from ancient people that this will protect the food item from

the poisonous elements/probable contamination on account of eclipse;

I do not know the science behind this. If time permits I desire to

make a study on this particular aspect to properly guide the next

generation.

Dear Sir

 

I want to know the time of grahanam.for doing the Meditation &

Mantra Japam. It is also be beneficial to the performer to do

Ganesh mantra to get better results and acquire knowledge as

instructed by my Guruji.

 

Also, Pournima fall on the Thursday which is very auspicious and can

get divine blessings be workshipping / meditating Guru mantra "

NAAM DAKSHINAA MURTHAYEH NAMAHA " & Hayagreeva

VIDYANAAM HAYAGREEVA MUPAASMAHEY " .

 

This will give a better and good results as Guru & Hayagree (both

one & the same form of paramaatma, guru in Siva form & hayagreeva in

Vishnu) will bless by giving adequate knowledge, siddis.
