Guest guest
Padmasri Sri. SP Balasubrahmanyam performing in a Live Concert in Seattle (for the first time in his career spanning almost 4 decades) presented by HTCC as a musical fundraiser on September 15th 2006, went on to sing some of the gems of his career in Telugu (Antha Ramamayam [sri Ramadasu], Adigo Alladigo [Annamayya], Sankara [shankarabharanam], Vedam [sagara Sangamam], Ee Divilo Virisina [Kanne Vayasu]), Tamil ([Varumayin Nirum Sigappu], Sundari [Thalapathy], Nilavendum [Mouna Raagam], Devuda Devuda [Chandramukhi]), Hindi (Ek Duje Ke Liye, Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aap Ke Hain Koun, Saagar) and Kannada (Endendu [Hombisulu]). Smt. Sailaja Sudhakar, Mallikarjuna Rao & Gopika Poornima were the rest of the singing troupe who sang some melodious numbers and were accompanied by a great pick of musicians from South India forming the orchestra. Vanisri who was one of the concert organizers sang " Malli Malli Idi Raani Roju " from Rakshasudu, a 1987 Chiranjeevi blockbuster in Telugu with Sri. SP Balasubrahmanyam. As the meaning of the song translates it was a great day & moment to remember & cherish for the rest of the lives for both Vanisri and her husband Vishwa Gaddamanugu. SP Balasubrahmanyam anywhere in vicinity anytime in the future.
