Sri Sathya Sai's Avataric Mission in His own words

 

Many a times Bhagawan proclaimed His mission through His activities,

in discourses and in Poems during the discourses.

 

Few such important declarations are given below:

 

Almost in every discourse Bhagawan explains something or the other in

His Poetry viz., glory of Bharath, how a devotee should lead life, how

women should lead their life, how a student should behave, how Guru

should be, how a sadhak should proceed, His Mission on this earth etc.

 

One of the Telugu Poem translated into English

1) To set right the world when the traditions are destroyed,

To purify the world when it is polluted with evil,

To perfect the virtuous When the evil ones live in reckless manner,

To unravel the secretes of the scriptures When their meaning has been lost in

the womb of time,

To foster mother Earth by ridding her of her burden,

To fulfill the promises Which had been given in the Tretha Yuga,

Lo and Behold! The very Lord has descended down

As the embodiment of Truth.

 

That Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omni present Divinity descended on

the Earth on 23rd November 1926 at Puttaparthi to protect the Vedas

and the good and set right the aberrant world. He has not come down to slay the

evil-minded but to transform them into true human beings.

2) That son of Nanda has come again As a darling of delight to identify his own

people,

That Ramachandra has come again; As an embodiment of bliss,

To identify his servitors in that past; That Lord (Eesha) has come again, As

Saieesa to sport with his people; That Lord Vishnu has come again, As the

emperor of the world,

To arm Himself with weapons.

Sai is the one who preaches the principles of Love,

Sai is the one who fosters harmony and equality,

Sai is the one who teaches the value of humanity,

That Sai is the embodiment of Love.

 

The principle of Love has reached all the humanity. It instilled the sense of

harmony and equality among all. The embodiment of Love alone can come down to

earth teach the humanity the true meaning of Love.

3) It is my resolve to lend joy,

To delight all and protect all.

It is my vow to run to the rescue of those

Who have strayed away from the right path.

I express my love by lending succour

To those stricken by poverty and pain.

To me, devotion lies in treating

Pain and pleasure in equal measure.

I do not forsake those who have taken refuge in Me,

I see to it that those who have taken refuge in Me.

Are not stained by any impurity,

Then how can My name be ever strained?

 

Whether you are in the forest or in the sky,

Whether you are in the city or in the village,

Whether you are on a mountain

Or in the middle of a river,

Sai will never ever forget you.

 

The Lord who dwells in Puttaparthi

Will ever guard you with compassion.

He will protect you holding by the hand.

He will take care of you

Without ever loosening his grip on you.

 

Once a devotee asked Bhagawan, ˜Does your name and fame reach each

home on the earth? Bhagavan replied, You buffalo, not only it

reaches every home but each inch on the Earth (Inti intiki matrame

kadu -- Inchi inchiki.

 

Most fortunate are those who live with Him. And Bhagavan's students

are more blessed with closer proximity with Him than any others. he

spends 75% of His time with His students. However He is ever in

Devotees heart and installation of His Omnipresence through His

miracles and appearances. Nearly 180 countires in the World Bhagawan's Mission

activities are being carried out. Imagine how many millions of blessed souls who

carry out His Mission directly or indirectly.
