Guest guest
Most South Indian Temples have a Pushkarini. What is the significance of this feature ? ( Apart from draught relief ) Devotees are supposed to bathe in these and then go for the Darhanam. How these were kept hyginically clean in the olden days ? Are there any architectural rules governing the location with respect to the temple ? Why is this feature not present in the North Indian Temples ?
